Around the branches. In this issue we look at branches in Amman Jordan-Middle East, Manzini Swaziland - Africa, Cairo Egypt, Columbo Sri Lanka and Douglas Isle of Man UK.
Labour migration and workers' remittances. Labour migration means that a great deal of money is sent from one country to another, which can be a problem for the migrant worker's home country and the state in which he works. BCC is well placed to help solve such problems.
A new international dimension Hong Kong. BCC is now the majority shareholder in a major Hong Kong bank. How this fits in with the Group's strategy and the advantages of a Hong Kong based bank are described on.
