
BCC offered private banking to important and high net worth individuals (HNWIs) in some BCC branches and in Switzerland at Banque de Commerce et de Placement SA (BCP) that was 85% owned by BCC and 15% by Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), through their company Thesaurus.
The general management of BCP Switzerland was based in Geneva. Branches were in Geneva, Zurich, Luxembourg and Lugano in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.

Private banking services offered to wealthy clients was no different than those of the major international banks. The financial services provided by BCC and BCP included investment-related advice, portfolio-management, and handing fiduciary accounts.
Private banking clients received enhanced personalised services from their relationship manager who liaised with all the departments within the bank to ensure that the clients received the best possible service at one place.
