The Years of Marketing are just beginning. This year — the first year of marketing - has been momentous for all of us: 1984 has initiated the broadest marketing effort yet mounted by BCC.
The last few months of the year are always a very important time. At the end of the financial year, we discover the extent to which our intangible vision has become tangible. Each year our commitment as bankers is put to the test, as is our commitment to BCC's Major Purpose. Moral values and material success unite in BCC, so that you cannot have one without the other.
BCC began operations in Niamey (Niger), the nation's capital, in March of this year (1984). In the period of planning that led up to this and in the months since operations began, there has been plenty of time to appraise the state of the market and BCC's role in it.
