Financials

The Annual Reports and Accounts of BCCI Holdings (Luxembourg) SA reported the consolidation of the financial statements of the BCC Group banks and companies.

The important elements reflected include:

  • Liquidity: BCCI's ability to meet the obligations of liquid funds.
  • Solvency: BCCI's credit quality and adequacy of the bank’s own resources (indebtedness).
  • Profitability: BCCI's ability to generate income/profit from allocated capital and customer deposits.

The primary income of BCCI was managing the spread between interest rates paid on funds including customer deposits held by BCCI, and the rate it received from direct lending and financing trade and commerce.

  • Interpretation of Balance Sheets: Institute of Bankers, London, United Kingdom 1972.
